Contrary to Popular Belief, conversion from standard HVAC RTU’s to Geothermal is possible, cost effective and super energy efficient.

These projects are all within the snow belt region and see winter temperatures below the typical 55 degree Fahrenheit threshold set for Geothermal heat pumps. All loop supply and return pipes are roof top mounted, insulated and circulated with pure water. If necessary the water may carry an environmentally friendly 30% ethanol solution as heat transfer fluid.
The design exceeded client expectations, and delivered the warmest winter on record for a vintage building.
In each application we deployed DSB’s trenchless method of boring loops with horizontal depths reaching 75′ and over 6 miles of pipe in the ground forming our heating and cooling coils.
