Fusing 8″ Pipe and Pulling Cap
This project included the need to transfer geothermal fluid 800′ from field to return. We accomplished this through horizontal boring with and puling the 8″ return line back from point of origin. The video shows the fusion process. Notice the beaded plastic form over the joint ensuring the 550 degree fusion weld becoming one congruent piece when complete. Life expectancy is over a 100 years.
