LinkedIn Post Re: WESP
One of the global challenges we continue to see is the use of coal and lignite for energy production. We continuously hear how natural gas and or LNG is on the rise and to the rescue but in reality it is impossible to change the prime mover these massive power production plants. We continue to read about governments forcing the hand of industry to change and impose carbon taxes etc.. This is a global problem and in the words of Gerard Anderson, CEO of DTE Energy, who estimated the emissions regulations in the US will lead to the retirement of half or more of the coal-fired generation in Michigan. That capacity will have to be replaced with natural gas and wind power, both requiring huge new investment in facilities. For the state as a whole across several power companies, including DTE, Anderson estimated $15 billion would be spent on new facilities. “I would say that the electric sector is headed for the biggest transformation it’s seen in 40 years, starting soon,” As a green energy advocate, I am a realist that states we cannot possible upgrade all of the global facilities as quickly as desired, but what we can do is introduce technology that enables Power Producers to continue to operate with the fuel of choice but ensure 99.99% of all flue emissions are not only captured but safely reapplied. Check out the technology located at http://www.dsbmanagement.com/#!technology/cqjh. The answer lies within our technological grasp today.
